Censorship is the usage of words, images, or ideas that are intended to be and are offensive. Peopleuse this technique to pressure their personal view on politics and their values on other people by making the other options look bad with a play of words. Censorship is not just used by the government it can be used by everyday citizens as well. It is just more likely that government officials would use it over the common citizen. But note that the technique when used by the government is consider as unconstitutional. But it is not by the citizens. If citizens in a city deside to boycott a business or organization due to disagreement in beliefs he or she or as a group are protected by the First Amendment. So the first amendment and censorship go hand in hand. The first amendment protects citizens to use the technique censorship and it is simply consider freedom of speech and beliefs.
