What I Want To Know About My Book

I want to know what happens in the students lives. What they have to go through and how hard it is to stay away from the trouble around them. Also, what Ms. Gruwell has to go through while teaching the class. Does she ever think about why she is doing this and does she ever regert it at some point in time. Also, what makes her want to do it in the first place. Why that school , why that class, like whats so special about them that makes her what to even help them.

The Story Behind My Book

The story behind my book is it was originaly something the teacher, Ms. Gruwell, came up with to get to know her students better. After having the them write in their diary every night, she learn what they were going thru and could relate to them more. But first, she had them read The Diary of Anne Frank, to guide them and help them write better. Along the way of the students' high school years , they came up with different foundations, such as "The Freedom Riders" . As they writing and telling their stories , with all their hard , their stories are published on "Prime Time Live" and "All Things Considered" coverage in People magazine and more. And at the end of it all, all 150 students that Ms. Gruwell worked with, graduated from high school and college.

What I Already Know About My Book

What I already know bout my book is that its about one teacher coming into a new environment, and trying to make a change. She is trying to show them that just because there is gang violence and bad influences around, that you dont have to be apart of it. I also know that my book was made into a moive in January 5, 2007. Also, that it inspired alot of people into doing good. Thats what i already know about my book.
